• At least 21 years of age
• Mature and responsible
• Financially stable
• Suitable home with enough living space
• Ability to learn and work with a team
• Able to commit to on-going training
• Provide daily care and nurturing of the children in your home
• Advocate for the children in their schools and community
• Inform all Treatment Team members about adjustments to your home, school, or community as well as problems that may arise including serious illnesses, accidents or serious occurrences involving children or birth families
• Work with the Treatment Team members towards reunifying children with their birth families when appropriate
• Provide a positive role model to birth families
• Help the children learn life skills
