Pathways is interested in individuals and couples of all make-ups, backgrounds and socio-economic statuses who can provide safe, nurturing environments for children.
The basic licensing requirements are as follows:
- At least 21 Years of Age
- Mature and Responsible
- Financially Stable
- Suitable Home with Sufficient Space
- Ability to Learn and Work with a Team
- Able to Commit to Ongoing Training
Additionally, we take great responsibility for children in our care and hold our families to these standards:
- Provide daily Care and Nurturing of the Children in your Home
- Advocate for the Children in their Schools and Community
- Be a Positive Role Model to the Child’s Biological Family
- Help the Children Learn Life Skills
- Work with the Treatment Team Members Towards Reunifying Children with their Birth Families when Appropriate
